Duncan Trailers Ltd (a division of Select Trailer Sales) is looking for licensed 310T or 310J Trailer Technicians based out of South Mountain, Ontario (Ottawa Area).

Shift Details: Monday to Friday, 7am-4:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair various trailer components including electrical systems, landing gear assemblies, trailer frames, hitching/coupling systems, suspensions, tires, wheels, hubs, axles, air and auxiliary systems, braking systems, heating and refrigeration systems, ventilation devices, and hydraulic systems
• Utilize hand tools and specialized diagnostic equipment for fault diagnosis and repair
• Collaborate with supervisors to review work orders and discuss tasks
• Perform scheduled maintenance services and test repaired systems
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and service managers
• Read and interpret operating manuals and service specifications
• Stay updated on technology advancements and enhance skills as needed
• Ensure accuracy in parts charging and maintenance software system entries
• Obtain and maintain required skills and certifications
• Perform preventative maintenance and rebuilds on reefer components

Requirements:

• 310T or 310J License
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
• Proficient in written English with precise copy accuracy
• Clean driver's abstract
