Select Trailer Sales is looking for licensed 310T or 310J Trailer Technicians based out of Mississauga, Ontario.
Shift Details: Monday to Friday, 7am-4:30pm

Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair various trailer components including electrical systems, landing gear assemblies, trailer frames, hitching/coupling systems, suspensions, tires, wheels, hubs, axles, air and auxiliary systems, braking systems, heating and refrigeration systems, ventilation devices, and hydraulic systems
- Utilize hand tools and specialized diagnostic equipment for fault diagnosis and repair
- Collaborate with supervisors to review work orders and discuss tasks
- Perform scheduled maintenance services and test repaired systems
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and service managers
- Read and interpret operating manuals and service specifications
- Stay updated on technology advancements and enhance skills as needed
- Ensure accuracy in parts charging and maintenance software system entries
- Obtain and maintain required skills and certifications
- Perform preventative maintenance and rebuilds on reefer components
Requirements:
- 310T or 310J License
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Proficient in written English with precise copy accuracy
- Clean driver's abstract

Job Summary
Select Trailer Sales is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Assistant to join our Mississauga team. In this role, you will support the Parts Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of our parts department by maintaining inventory accuracy, assisting customers, and processing orders efficiently. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy contributing to a collaborative team, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Parts Manager with daily operations, including inventory management, order processing, and parts procurement.
- Respond to customer inquiries, provide product information, and assist with parts selection.
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked parts area.
- Support inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
- Utilize software systems to update inventory levels and process transactions.
- Coordinate with service and sales departments to fulfill internal parts requests.
- Ensure excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients and vendors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in automotive/truck parts or logistics is an asset.
- Previous experience in a parts department or similar role is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to lift and carry parts and materials up to 50 lbs.
- A proactive attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction.
